LOUIE LONDON

Louie

For Louie, we directed a film. From the start, we saw the space not as a simple business, but as a stage for a story.

Every detail, from the lighting to the atmosphere, was a scene waiting to be captured. Our mission was to bring that story to life through photography, videography, graphic design, and creative direction to craft a narrative that was as compelling and memorable as a great movie. We created a cinematic experience. It was this approach that allowed us to move beyond a typical marketing campaign and truly connect with an audience, turning passive viewers into an engaged community.

PHOTO & VIDEO PRODUCTION

We focused on what makes Louie special and told that story through video. This was the most impactful part of our work. Video has a powerful way of connecting with people. It brings a brand to life and creates an emotional connection that static images can't. By showing the passion, the atmosphere, and the craft behind the scenes, our videos drove a significant increase in engagement and, more importantly, a rise in bookings and revenue.

Creative Direction

For our creative direction, we put the team at Louie front and center. In every great place, the work is the star, but the people are the real artists. We crafted a cinematic introduction for the team, showing that every person, from the creators of the menu to the hosts who greet every guest, is an essential part of the experience.

This journey showed that a great restaurant is a performance where every person has a role. Their dedication and love for their craft create an atmosphere that goes beyond the obvious. At its heart, Louie is about the people, and we made sure everyone saw that through our artistic approach.

Our creative direction was also informed by literary choices. We used poems and passages related to the place, including those by Ernest Hemingway, to add another layer of soul and story to the brand:

— This is a hot town, what do they call it?
— Louie*
— Ever hear of it?
— No.
— What do they do here nights?
— They eat the dinner. They all come here and eat the big dinner.
— That’s right.

I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy and to make plans.

— Ernest Hemingway, A Moveable Feast

Graphic Design and Brand Identity

This is where we started. We took the time to understand Louie’s unique identity: its design, its graphics, its very soul. Using this understanding, we created a blueprint for everything we did. Our graphic design became the anchor for their Instagram feed and the style for event flyers. We made sure everything felt like Louie.

Why is this so important? Because of psychology. When a brand’s visual elements (its colors, style, and fonts) are used consistently, we create a mental shortcut for people. They see that specific look and they instantly think of Louie. This consistency builds trust and makes the brand instantly recognizable, without us ever having to say a word.

The results

Our work with Louie delivered a tangible impact, showing the power of our creative approach:

150% increase in social media engagement

75% growth in website traffic from social channels

30% rise in direct bookings

This is proof that our work goes beyond marketing. We told a human story that resonated with people, and in doing so, we helped turn followers into guests and guests into loyal customers.
